Exploring the coupled human-Earth system to understand future trajectories and potential impacts.
We explore the range of possibilities for caloric trade worldwide under different internal variability trajectories. This figure shows that some countries could have up to 90\% of their calories under climate stress from internal variability alone. Figure from Keys et al. (2025).
The Earth system and human decisions shape each other. We study possible futures of that coupled system.
